District Church Council has provided some additional resources in 2025 to increase the staff who will focus on equipping our people for mission.

The Lutheran Church of Australia and related entities, such as Lutheran schools, will have the opportunity to benefit from the LLL’s decision to transition to a Religious Charitable Development Fund (RCDF).

A fundraising porridge breakfast to support Somalian children through Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) was held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Morphett Vale recently. 

Breaking down barriers through breaking bread together was the goal for The Ark Lutheran Church in Salisbury, who recently partnered with Hope Arabic Church to reach the local Arabic-speaking community.

Congregations are invited to apply for a mission outreach grant, thanks to the generosity of the LLL. The District has $25,000 to distribute in 2023, which could be split between multiple ventures.
