2026 SA–NT District Pastors Conference
The District Pastors Conference (DPC) Planning Committee has been meeting for the last several months in preparation for our Pastors' Conference on 29 April to 1 May at Murray Bridge.
As you would be aware, there is uncertainty in the short and longer term about fuel availability and cost, as well as the other economic factors that stem from this. We are well aware of the impact this is having on people in our congregations as well as the wider community.
Regrettably, the planning committee, in conjunction with Bishop Andrew and the District Office have made the decision to postpone DPC. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause you - particularly if you have booked accommodation and hope that it is early enough for you to receive a full refund. For those pastors who have registered, a full refund will be processed for you in the coming days.
The District Church Council and the District Office have postponed the Together in Christ event to be held on Saturday 2 May, for the same reasons. Again, they hope to hold the event later in the year.
We will be continuing to meet as a committee to assess the situation that is unfolding and will keep the pastorate updated as to when we will be holding our conference. It is our hope that we can run it later in the year, possibly in conjunction with our retreat.
