A big thank you from the Professional Standards team for your time and commitment to implementing Safe Church processes in your congregations and parishes this year.

Final in-person training sessions have been scheduled for 2021. All face-to-face Safe Church training will re-commence in February 2022. If your congregation or parish are due to renew their training, please contact the District Team to book in a date for next year!

August’s update includes information on rescheduled workshops, and an update on the LCA Child Safety Standards.

Upcoming July and August workshops – including Level 1 Full Workshops and Level 1 Refresher Workshops – are now available at a range of locations across the District.

June and July workshops – including Safe Church Level 1 Workshops, Safe Church Level 1 Refresher and Safe Church Level 2 Training – are now available at a range of locations across the District.

In our last update we noted a Safe Church Webinar that was run on 27th March. If you missed the webinar, you can still share the experience of the approximately 300 members who connected on the day.

There are several upcoming Professional Standards training sessions in April,  including Safe Church training and Level 1 Safe Church Refresher training. Registrations are essential for all sessions.
