The combined Christian churches of Adelaide are seeking volunteers for outreach at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show.

August’s update includes information on rescheduled workshops, and an update on the LCA Child Safety Standards.

The Maitland Women’s Guild Fellowship Afternoon was held recently, on Wednesday, 2nd June, 2021. The theme for the day was taken from 2 Timothy 1:6 – “Stir up the gift of God”.

Picture over 200 ladies  singing ‘…give us we pray, your bliss in our hearts, Lord, at the break of the day…’ (hymn 870 LHS) and you have the setting for the opening worship of the 54th Convention of the LWSA-NT, held at Mannum on 6th May 2021.

On the 5th June an enthusiastic group of 55 Young Adults got together to share a meal at Brunelli’s Café followed by an interactive evening of games at the Glynde Church Hall.

Upcoming July and August workshops – including Level 1 Full Workshops and Level 1 Refresher Workshops – are now available at a range of locations across the District.

Mental health and emotional and spiritual wellness were the focus at the recent THRIVE conference, hosted by The Ark Salisbury Lutheran Church. The day was jam-packed with practical ideas on how to work towards and maintain a healthy heart and mind, with a God-centred focus.
