Lutherans from Cleve, Cowell and Lock gathered with Anglican friends on Reformation Sunday for a German-themed garden party. Proceeds from the event went towards renovations to the Cleve manse, as well as to ALWS

Held at The Ark Lutheran Church in Salisbury, the North Zone Fellowship Day was based on the Bible text Psalm 145:4 – “Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts: let them proclaim your power”, reminding attendees that their stories are important.

There’s more than just melodies on offer for the families who come through the door at one of the many Lutheran church-based mainly music sessions. Alongside the fun of the engaging songs, music and movement is an atmosphere of true community, one that offers support, sharing, ministry, even meals.

A fundraising porridge breakfast to support Somalian children through Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) was held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Morphett Vale recently. 

Breaking down barriers through breaking bread together was the goal for The Ark Lutheran Church in Salisbury, who recently partnered with Hope Arabic Church to reach the local Arabic-speaking community.

Grace Lutheran Chinese Church, a new congregation worshipping in the Glynde Zion church building, has been admitted into membership of the LCA. They were given a warm welcome at District Synod.
