A silent sermon is preached every Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Magill. Yet while they may be low in volume, these services are perhaps the most interactive in the Lutheran community.

Lutheran Care has celebrated the outstanding service of six dedicated volunteers, who recently received Premier’s Awards for their work visiting older people at risk of social isolation.

Congregations are invited to apply for a mission outreach grant, thanks to the generosity of the LLL. The District has $25,000 to distribute in 2023, which could be split between multiple ventures.
