2023 LLL Mission Outreach Grants
Once again, owing to the generosity of the Lutheran Laypeople’s League and their commitment to the mission of the Church, mission outreach grants are available for congregations to apply for in each District of the church.
The SA-NT has $25,000 to distribute in 2023 to successful grant applications. This amount could be split between multiple ventures.
Grants are provided to assist congregations to bring the Gospel to those who do not yet know Jesus. This differs from ministry, which can be defined as the Gospel at work in existing church members and activities. Grants from this fund are not available to provide items that form part of the normal budget of the congregation or are of an operational, recurring nature.
If there is a way that your congregation (or a number of congregations together) wish to reach out to your local community with the Gospel that requires financial assistance then I would encourage you to apply for a grant.
Applications close on Friday 14 April and those successful will be announced at the SA-NT District Convention on the 20 -21 May 2023. All applications should be submitted to Stephen Schultz (Assistant Bishop for Mission) stephen.schultz@lca.org.au
