Child Safety action plan now overdue
A big thank you to all congregations who submitted their Round 2 Child Safety Standards Action Plan or their Child Safety ‘No Children’ Assurance by the 31 March deadline.
We appreciate your work in making our church a safe place where children and young people can thrive and grow in their faith.
A list of all submissions we have received will be available on the Child Safety Standards pages of the website at the end of April https://www.lca.org.au/child-safety-standards/
We still have congregations who have not made a submission to us and have not communicated with us about their progress to date.
For those congregations who are either still working on their Child Safety Standard Action Plans or are yet to commence the process, please note you are still required to complete your Child Safety Standards Action Plan. Please contact the CSS Implementation Support Officer Nicole Hall ASAP with an update on your congregation’s progress on 0491 011 643 or nicole.hall@lca.org.au
