Meet the SA–NT District mission team
The Lutheran Church of Australia SA–NT District exists to resource, encourage and focus its communities to grow in Christ and make him known to all people.
God’s mission is being carried out at the local level through the people of God. The staff of the District Office are there to support you in your ministry-mission as a community. District Church Council has provided some additional resources in 2025 to increase the staff who will focus on equipping our people for mission.
The SA–NT District mission team includes:
- Stephen Schultz – Assistant Bishop for Mission
- Craig Heidenreich – Mission Facilitator
- Joanne Chamberlain – Mission Mobiliser
In addition to this mission team, we have Jeanette Mann and Daniel Kitson in the Blueprint team (Children, Youth, Young Adults, Family Ministry) and Heidi Smith in chaplaincy (hospital, prison, disaster recovery).
We can assist you in a range of areas, including but not limited to:
- offering ministry-mission workshops (evangelism, gospel fluency etc.)
- engaging in cross-cultural ministry
- engaging effectively with the younger generations
- discipleship training
- church planting coaching
- enhancing school-congregation partnerships
- helping congregations shape a ministry-mission plan
- helping congregations to evaluate their National Church Life Survey (NCLS) data.
Contact one of the team members (emails below) if you are interested in receiving support in any of the above areas, would like further information about a particular workshop/resource, or have other resourcing requirements.
