Professional Standards December Update

…for your willingness to give the safety and well-being of our members and visitors high priority. This year, across our SA-NT District 1,157 members participated in one of 39 full day Professional Standards workshops. The Department was also able to deliver another 5 specialised sessions to cater to specific ministry group needs. And 148 SA-NT leaders participated in the new combined Team Leader and Coordinator webinars. Well done!
Spread the Word: Graphic Inserts for Publications Now Available
A series of handy graphic or text inserts are now available. These are designed to be easily inserted into church publications and presentations to highlight that Reflecting God’s Love and Keeping Children Safe are things we do in our church. Another message to reinforce is that we need to Report Abuse. An example of one of the images available is below.

Next Year
The Professional Standards Department are now planning a schedule of workshops for next year. Leaders who haven’t completed a workshop in 2017, 18 or 19, should plan to attend one in 2020. If your congregation is interested in hosting a workshop please contact us and discuss your needs.
Training remains current for 3 years. Those who completed a full-day workshop in 2017 will fall due to complete refresher training. And the good news is that this will be available via both face-2-face and online delivery from April next year.
