A night of joy and generosity
A night of fun, fellowship, and fundraising was enjoyed by close to 100 attendees at this year’s Blueprint Ministries Dinner at the Mawson Lakes Hotel and Function Centre, South Australia.
LLL was proud to be the major sponsor of the event, which raised over $5000 in vital funds to support the important work of Blueprint Ministries. This ministry supports congregations, young people, and families across the SA-NT District on their faith journeys through initiatives such as Ministry Grants, children’s Christmas and Easter packs, purchasing Bibles for camping ministry, and supporting young adult events.
The Blueprint Dinner is not only a key fundraiser but also an important opportunity to raise awareness. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal, live music, a trivia quiz, and had the opportunity to take part in a silent auction and raffle with a range of great items. The wine wall was so popular that it sold out well before the end of the evening.
Partnership in the Gospel
It was wonderful to have an intergenerational feel to the event, with young adults attending and supporting it, alongside older generations who are passionate about this ministry. Even people who were unable to attend the event offered their support.
The relationship and support of LLL, is a partnership in the gospel and is greatly appreciated. The LLL Chief Relationship Officer, Scott Ross, was part of a team of eight LLL staff who were delighted to show their support at the event. He said, ‘This is a powerful example of the positive impact LLL customers enable when they invest with us in advancing gospel-centred mission and ministry.’
Matt Ahrens provided live music for the event and, along with Daniel Kitson, performed a beautiful original Christian song.
Camp Director Emma Strelan gave a heartfelt account of what her involvement with Blueprint as a camp attendee, and later in a leadership role, has meant to her.
Blueprint Ministries, serving young people and families across the SA-NT District, gives thanks to God for this event and for the generous support received.
