130 years at Denial Bay Lutheran Church
In September, several special milestones and events were celebrated during worship at Bethlehem, Denial Bay Lutheran Church, with SA-NT District Assistant Bishop for Mission Stephen Schultz leading the service. Along with celebrating Father’s Day, the congregation marked its 130th anniversary, celebrated Peter and Judith Hoffrichter’s 60th wedding anniversary (who were visiting from Esperance, WA), and commissioned worship leaders Tracey Hoffrichter and Anne Cooper to administer communion during the congregation’s pastoral vacancy. Worship was followed by a delicious shared lunch and fellowship.
The congregation is extremely grateful for all visiting pastors who offer encouragement and support, helping their members feel connected to the wider church community. A special thanks was also extended to Pastor Stephen Schultz for his time, care and support of the leadership team and congregation.
