Professional Standards Update
2020 Workshops
The Professional Standards Department is now planning a schedule of workshops for next year. Leaders who haven’t completed a workshop in 2017, 2018 or 2019, should plan to attend one in 2020. If your congregation is interested in hosting a workshop please contact us and discuss your needs.
Training remains current for three years. Those who completed a full-day workshop in 2017 will fall due to complete refresher training. Spread The Word
A series of handy graphic or text inserts are now available. These are designed to be easily inserted into church publications and presentations to highlight that Reflecting God’s Love and Keeping Children Safe are things we do in our church! Another message to reinforce is that we need to Report Abuse.

SP3 Coordinator Network Day
Save the date! The 2020 LCA Professional Standards Department’s SP3 Coordinator Network Day is being held on Saturday, March 21.
This information session aims to discuss and explore the SP3 system, Professional Standards training, the role of the coordinator and answer any questions. The event is open to all SP3 coordinators, as well as pastors, chair people and anyone who is interested in the SP3 coordinator role.
Attend online or in person at LLL Australia, Archer Street, North Adelaide, from 1pm – 4pm. Please note if you live in the NT you can watch online from 12pm – 3pm. Registrations will open early next year.
