Stay Connected this Easter
This Easter will be very different for all of us.
Thankfully technology is helping us through these tough times and we are sure many of you will be live-streaming or watching pre-recorded services. However we thought we would share some more ways that will help you stay connected this Holy Week.
Free-to-air Broadcast of Easter Sunday Services of Lutheran Churches in South Australia (and Victoria)
- South Australia: Easter Sunday, 8am on Channel 44 – one-hour broadcast of Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s (Adelaide) Easter service
- Victoria: Easter Sunday, 1pm on Channel 31 – one-hour broadcast of Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s (Adelaide) Easter service
In South Australia we have also secured a 10am slot on Saturday, 18 April, for the broadcast of a one-hour service. The final details are being arranged.
For the weeks following Easter, the Church is working to secure further, regular time-slots in South Australia, which may include some shorter mid-week services.
Blueprint Ministries Easter Family Faith Trail
Blueprint Ministries has teamed up with the Uniting Church to create this resource for Holy Week. The Easter Family Faith Trail explores the events of the Easter story through a variety of activity stations.
Each station has a theme, Bible passage, questions to chat about, and simple activity and prayer ideas. Using locations and items from around the home, we invite your household to choose at least one activity in the lead up to or during Easter.
This is a great opportunity to grow faith at home for people of all ages, particularly families with children under 12. Most of the ideas use multiple senses to engage with the Easter story.
We hope this resource equips your family to play, talk and pray together so that you may grow in faith, especially as you celebrate what Jesus has done for us this Easter. To download a copy, click here.
